CONTRACTS CONCIERGE VIP DAY

Imagine having to start your business from scratch tomorrow, and you only have two things:

1. Your signature framework and 2. People ready to be your clients.

What's the ONE thing you need?

It's not a sales page, and it's not a built-out funnel, it's not a marketing course, it's not a flushed-out website, it's not a Facebook ads sequence, it's not a client portal, it's not a brand scheme and logo...

The MOST IMPORTANT thing you need to deliver your signature service to someone willing to pay for that service is... a Client Contract.

The longer you avoid using a client contract custom tailored around your business and signature service, the greater risk you bring to your business, signature framework, and clients.

MOST ONLINE BUSINESS OWNERS ARE USING NON-CUSTOM CONTRACTS

  • A contract template

  • A contract that's been pieced together from different contracts and blogs

  • A contract passed on to you from your business bestie or mentor

  • A contract that hasn't been updated in the past 6 months

And any other contract that has not been tailored to reflect how you deliver your signature service and how your business operates.

AND ALL OF THOSE BUSINESS OWNERS ARE LEAVING THEIR BUSINESSES AND CLIENTS AT RISK BY NOT USING A CLIENT CONTRACT THAT'S TAILORED AROUND THEIR SERVICE AND THEIR BUSINESS

What does this risk look like?

  • Increased likelihood of legal liability because the terms of your contract don't articulate your client policies.

  • Limiting the money you can generate from your intellectual property because your contract doesn't police how clients can use or access it.

  • The system you have in place to deliver your signature service keeps getting interrupted because your contract hasn't been drafted to include those operations.

  • It's not clear exactly what your service provides and what the outcomes or deliverables will be because you're using vague terms like "transformation," "total," and "lifetime".

  • You don't know what risk you've opened yourself up to because you don't understand the boilerplate language used in your template.

  • Payment, refund, chargeback, and fee issues arise because your payment policies are not clearly articulated to your clients - or you don't have more than "no refunds."

  • You experience the same client issues because you haven't updated your contracts to include client data - those good and bad client experiences.

  • Poor client experiences because you didn't clarify the client's responsibility in bringing about their desired outcome.

  • The time, energy, and money lost on having to address disputes could have been easily prevented by a clear, thorough contract.

  • You force your business to adopt contract terms that you didn't draft instead of drafting contract terms that fit into your business.

THIS AVOIDABLE AND UNNECESSARY EXPOSURE TO RISK IS NOT IN ALIGNMENT WITH THE HIGH-LEVEL BUSINESS YOU'RE WORKING TO SUSTAIN

BUT THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU TREAT YOUR CLIENT CONTRACT AS A QUICK BOX TO CHECK SO YOU AND YOUR CLIENTS CAN EXCHANGE PAYMENT FOR SERVICE.

KNOW THIS: YOUR CONTRACT IS NOT JUST A DOCUMENT

It’s the most integral part of your business.

It lays the foundation for your client relationships.

It communicates and manages client expectations.

It enforces your client boundaries and business policies.

It's a reflection of your client experiences to date.

It protects that signature framework as an asset of your business.

It dictates how you get paid and what happens if you don't.

It makes sure you and your clients are on the same page.

It tells your client how to act and what happens when they don't do so accordingly.

It's a reflection of the operations you have in place.

It minimizes risk of miscommunication and client complaints.

It tells you what to do when dealing with difficult clients and refund requests.

It helps make sure the outcome of ANY disputes result in a win-win situation.

It helps you facilitate a high-level experience for the client and your business.

It's the most necessary feature of your client-based business.

YOU DON'T GET ANY OF THE ABOVE BY USING CONTRACTS THAT ARE DESIGNED TO BE ONE-SIZE-FITS-ALL SOLUTIONS.

YOU HAVE TO FORCE YOUR BUSINESS TO FIT INTO THESE TYPES OF CONTRACTS WHEN IT SHOULD BE THE OTHER WAY AROUND.

LET US HELP YOU TAILOR YOUR CONTRACTS AROUND YOUR SIGNATURE SERVICE AND YOUR BUSINESS.
