You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, screen share or screen shot,  or exploit any portion of the website, use of the website, or access to the website in a manner that would violate the intellectual property rights of Anasa Law Firm. All intellectual property on this site is owned by Anasa Law Firm. May not be used without express written permission from Anasa Law Firm. Use of this website does not give you license to use any intellectual property owned by Anasa Law Firm.

Prohibited Use. In addition to other prohibitions as set forth in these Terms, you are prohibited from using the site or its content for any unlawful purpose; to upload or transmit viruses or any other type of malicious code that will or may be used in any way that will affect the functionality or operation of the website or of any related website, other websites, or the Internet; for any obscene purpose as defined by applicable law; to directly or indirectly interfere with the functionality or security features of this website; and accessing content or information not intended for you. We reserve the right to terminate your use of the website or any related website , at any time and without notice, for violating any of the prohibited uses.

Personal Information. The content you provide us is subject to our Privacy Policy and not considered confidential or proprietary information. You agree to provide information that is accurate, only yours and not in violation of another’s privacy or intellectual property, or applicable laws.

Consultations. Consultations, paid or free, are for information purposes and to inquire further about legal services. Consultations will not be used to render legal advice but only be used to provide legal information. Legal advice is where you take the law and apply it to a unique person’s facts or situation. Legal information is information available to the general public. Monies paid for a consultation are to secure the time for the consultation and not paid in exchange for legal advice. No attorney-client relationship will be formed unless you sign an engagement agreement for consideration with Anasa Law Firm. We reserve the right to refuse booked consultations without explanation. Prices and availability for consultations are subject to change at any time without notice.

Legal Strategy Sessions. Paid legal strategy sessions are facilitated by Liku T. Madoshi, Esq. who is licensed in the state of California. Any legal advice provided that is NOT within the scope of California law should not be considered legal advice. An attorney client relationship is formed solely within the scope of the matters discussed in the legal strategy session. No ongoing attorney-client relationship will exist at the conclusion of the legal strategy session unless you enter into a separate legal engagement with Anasa Law Firm. Prices and availability for legal strategy sessions are subject to change at any time without notice.

Digital Purchases. Any digital purchases whether in video, pdf, or other format and accessible for viewing or download are subject to these Terms.

Events. Events hosted by or promoted by Anasa Law Firm are for information and education purposes only. At no time during an event will legal advice be rendered by Liku T. Madoshi, Esq. Registration or attendance of events hosted by, featuring, partnered with or otherwise involving Anasa Law Firm should not be construed as an intent to enter into an attorney-client relationship. No attorney client relationship will be formed unless you sign an engagement agreement for consideration with Anasa Law Firm. Prices and availability for events are subject to change at any time without notice.

 

Member Pages. Member pages are made available exclusively to clients and authorized persons. You are responsible for maintaining the username and password you created to access member pages. Users who have access to member pages have a limited license to view the content on the member pages. The content on member pages is subject to the Privacy Policy and these Terms. 

Password Protected Pages. Password protected pages are made available exclusively to authorized persons who have received the password from Anasa Law Firm. You are not permitted to distribute or share the password with unauthorized persons. We reserve the right to change the password or revoke your access at any time for any reason without notice to you. You agree to exercise due diligence to prevent inadvertent disclosure of the password to others. Password protected pages are subject to the Privacy Policy and these Terms. 

Changes to Services. We reserve the right to refuse service of our website to any person at any time without explanation and may exercise this right at our discretion. We reserve the right to update, change, limit, or remove services or other offerings on our website at any time without notice to you. All descriptions, payments and other information related to our content and services are subject to change without notice to you.

In order to render our services and operate this website, we use third party tools over which we may not have control or access as they are governed by other platforms. See the list of third party tools we use to help facilitate website operations in our Privacy Policy.

You acknowledge and agree that we provide access to such tools ”as is” and “as available” without any warranties, representations or conditions of any kind and without any endorsement. By your use of this website, you agree to use these third party tools. Your use of the tools offered through the site is entirely at your own risk and discretion. We shall have no liability whatsoever arising from or relating to your use of third-party tools.

11. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

If there is any dispute arising out of the Websites or your use of the website, you agree that dispute will be governed by the laws of the United States and the State of California. Acceptance of the Terms constitutes your consent to be sued in such courts and to accept service of process outside the State of California with the same force and effect as if such service had been made within the State of California. You hereby agree to accept service of process for any action hereunder by certified mail return receipt requested which service shall have the same force and effect as though service had been effected by personal service in the applicable jurisdiction. If any part of these terms is unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that part will be deemed severable and will not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Anasa Law Firm and our officers, directors, agents, contractors, licensors, service providers, subcontractors, suppliers, interns and employees, harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys’ fees,  arising out of or related to your use of the Website and violation of these Terms and the documents or policies they incorporate by reference, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third-party. 

13. SEVERABILITY 

In the event that any provision of these Terms is determined to be unlawful, void or unenforceable, such provision shall nonetheless be enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and the unenforceable portion shall be deemed to be severed from these Terms, such determination shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any other remaining provisions. 

14. NO ASSIGNMENT

These Terms cannot be assigned by you to any other person or entity. 

 

15. TERMINATION 

These Terms of Use are effective unless and until terminated by either you or us. You may terminate these Terms of Use at any time by notifying us or when you cease using our website. If we suspect that you’ve violated these Terms, we reserve the right to terminate your use of this website at any time without notice and you will still be liable for any amounts due up until the termination date.

16. ENTIRE AGREEMENT 

These Terms of Use and any policies or operating rules posted by us on this website constitute the entire agreement between you and us. Any prior or other agreements, whether oral or written, between you and us is superseded by these Terms.

17. ATTORNEYS FEES

If you are found liable in any action or proceeding arising out of your use of the website, you shall be responsible for Anasa Law Firm’s attorneys fees.

If we fail to enforce any provision or exercise any rights within these Terms, that failure shall not be construed as a waiver of those or any  rights or provisions in these Terms.

We provide some of our services through contractual arrangements with affiliates, services providers, partners and other third parties (collectively, "service partners"). Our service partners may use your personal information to operate our sites and to deliver their services. For example, your data may be transferred to website hosting partners and other parties who assist us in designing and operating the website, executing services (such as for prize fulfillment), or helping us analyze collected data. These parties will only use your data for the purpose of carrying out the work as agreed with us and will be required to keep the information confidential. However, the use of your personal information by our service partners is governed by the privacy policies of those service partners and is not subject to our control.

Our service providers consist of the following:

  • Mailerlite to collect names and emails, and administer email marketing.

  • Zoom to collect names and emails for appointment setting and event registration and access.

  • Paypal to collect payment information for consultations.

  • Zapier to assist in the collection and transfer of personal information to third parties listed herein.

  • Calendly to collect names and emails for client and consultation booking and scheduling.

  • Wix to administer website services.

  • Panda Doc to collect names and emails for automated contract signing and notifications.

  • Lawpay to collect client payment information.

  • Quickbooks to manage client and consultation payments.

 

Required Disclosures. ALF will release personal or general information without your consent for security purposes, when required by law, or to prevent imminent harm to any person or entity. We will disclose personal or general information on receipt of a court order or subpoena, or to cooperate with a law enforcement investigation, which may include responding to requests and court orders from jurisdictions outside the United States. We fully cooperate with law enforcement agencies in identifying those who use our services for illegal activities. We reserve the right to report to law enforcement agencies any activities that we in good faith believe to be unlawful, as determined in our sole discretion. Release of your personal data for security purposes, as described in this agreement, to any person or entity under any circumstances shall be based on a determination made solely by us, exercising our own discretion, permission for which is expressly granted by you to us in accordance with this Policy.

Links to 3rd Parties. From time to time we may insert links to third parties on this website including links from partners that may use ALF’s logo, name or other identifying features as part of a co-branding agreement. This Privacy Policy does not extend to third party websites. The sites those links can take you to have their own separate privacy policies and, although we seek to protect the integrity of our site, ALF is not liable for the content and activities of those sites.
